I'm a bit underwhelmed by Coventry. The way it was bigged up I was thinking more along the lines of a Prem side or a big Scottish club.
Had Cov won their play-off it would've have been a Premier League side. I must admit, I was expecting Celtic.

I see Argyle have two premium home friendlies lined up. FGR and Salford. I guess Celtic are yet to confirm 🤔

I was just about to mention them lot. In total they only have five. Doesn't seem enough? I hope they're not going to be under-prepared...

And we won, can't remember whether it was 2-0 or 2-1.
* Maybe if I had read the links I would have known.

It was defo 2-1. I travelled down from Coventry for the game and remember telling my mates afterwards that we had a good side. The odds on city being champions were 33-1 and I said I’d put a tenner on it after that game. I didn’t.

I also remember that game for the team sheet announcer reading out the Coventry team. The names of the Coventry players were sort of half-known and misspelt, so we had someone reading out:

“In goal for Coventry is……..S…….Ogroovovich” 🤣🤣🤣

I know they could have been Prem, but we'll play bigger sides than Coventry in the league next season.

Celtic are the bigger name and would be a more enticing fixture but I'd still fancy Coventry to beat them on the pitch given the overall standard of the Scottish Prem.
