Once again, played in the correct position, Josh was outstanding. Another goal and should have had an assist if Archie could have kept his shot down. Up and down the pitch, constantly challenging the full back pinning him back so we could gain territorial advantage.

I think we will see the following leave/return to their club:
GK: Blackman, Woods
DF: Key, Grounds, Sparkes
MF: Collins, Harper, Chauke, White
FW: Brown, Stansfield.

Maybe add Coley in there but he is contracted until 2024.

Quite a few key players to replace this summer, but impressed with GC's recruitment so far. I think I'd aim to get in:
1x GK
2x CB (and send Diabate on loan...)
1x RWB
1x LWB
2x CM
1x CAM and
1x CF

Not much to ask for!

I think you're a goalkeeper to many. Harry Lee will be competing for a place in goal next season along with Woods.

There's no way in a million years Cheick is going out on loan.

I’ve been thinking about this too. It’s potentially going to be a significant overhaul.
If your figures are correct more will leave than join.
So maybe that means some of the new professionals will be required to step up?
This summer‘s window is going to be a very important one for us in relation to our immediate future prospects 😬

If, as expected, Collins and Key leave, and with Sparks seemingly out of favour and could also leave, will we start to see less academy graduates in the team from next season? MJ has also left, and I don't know of any player close to breaking into the first team currently. Although, I hadn't really heard of Grimes or Storey before they made their debuts so could be wrong.

The big omission from your list is McDonald who is only contracted until the end of the season. We should be moving heaven and earth to extend his time with us.
I too can't see Diabate going anywhere on loan. As it stands with the use of three centre backs he is going to feature in a pool along with Sweeney, Aimson and Hartridge. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see bids coming in for Alex either, and those for Diabate won't be far behind.

I see George Friend isn't playing for Birmingham. Possibly injured or just out of favour?

Hes 35 now and one last season at City would make sense.
