We’ve been to Thailand a few times.
Mostly during the UK winter or spring though.
I suppose the nearest time we went to their rainy season was in a September.
It was a while ago now but my recollection was that we had some very heavy storms but they didn’t last all day.
So although you needed to be undercover whilst it was hammering down once it stopped as it was still hot quite quickly afterwards it was as if it had never rained at all.
Anyway good luck, it’s a nice country with some very nice people.
Change of plan. Going to Zanzibar instead. Somewhere we’ve always talked about visiting

Hope you can find time to pay homage to Freddie Mercury while you are there.

I think Freddie was brilliant.
I’m always thankful I managed to see him live performing with Queen (early 80s at the old Wembley Arena).

I’ve just looked it up to refresh my memory.
I would have been there in December 1980 for The Game Tour.
Memorable tracks from that album include Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Another One Bites The Dust.
The Works Tour was a few years later starting in 1984.
Well known tracks from that album are I Want To Break Free, Radio Ga Ga and one of my personal favourites Hammer To Fall.
The Works was an enormous world tour ending in May 1985 so of course they were on brilliant form a couple of months later in the July when they played at Live Aid in London.

A whole month ! Good Lord, Great Scott, steady on, look here, really ?

We are doing Fuerteventura for just over a week and it means missing two home games: Posh and Derby 😒

Got to be done - I miss 4 home games usually I would be quite upset at that but strangely not bothered sign of the current times unfortunately
Enjoy Fuerteventura 🤞

ps I never thought I would see the two highlighted words above together :)

I've a while to wait until October but will be off to Cantabria, via the Santander ferry, to explore a bit of Northern Spain and to do a bit of hiking in the Picos De Europa.
