A bit concerned that GC doesn't want to recognise our old academy output.
Like Collins and Key you mean? This has got nothing to do with it - Hartridge has been playing badly, it's as simple as that. It wasn't that long ago that Caldwell was warmly welcomng Alex as a fully fledged member of the centre halves' club after his nose got broken

Did he get hauled off for a poor start or another reason?

A poor couple of months for Alex.

A poor couple of months for Alex.
It appears he got pulled for a concussion injury given that we made six subs today. There certainly wasn't anything visably wrong with him but it was hard to recall where he mighty have been concussed.

At the time I didn't think it was concussion as Alex and the coaching team were arguing, about what looked like positioning or not tracking a Morcambe player, as he took a seat in the substitues area. But as we used 6 subs it must have been concussion reasons.
