In terms of players playing well for the opposition at the park this season was impressed with Campbell-Ryce (Barnet) now at Carlisle - he was the most intelligent player on the pitch and miles ahead of his team mates in terms of Brain

The lee brothers at Luton are good young players - following Dad's example

He was the other player I was going to mention.

Now he was good. It was a wonder how he could be playing for somebody as poor as Barnet.

Tom Pope must be a good 'un, still scoring goals in a very average Port Vale team.

He's not bad is pope - would certainly improve our squad given the lack of depth or quality apart from Stockley

Agree entirely with Creds over Akinfenwe, it’s easy just to see a fat bloke but in this division he’s proper quality. Also notice Doidge and Pope appearing on Jeff Stelling’s Soccer Saturday seemingly every week. Can’t stand the bloke but Hylton at Luton’s been scoring regularly for a few seasons now. One who used to be good but is probably approaching the latter part of his career is Mackail-Smith.

I’m sure in our team the way we play all would struggle to better Stockley though...

Yeah Danny Hylton has always impressed, opposition fans hate him but if he was playing for us I'd love him.

James Collins Luton, everything you want from a striker class above at this level.
