Other than Rotherham the relegation battle is hotting up, 5 points difference from 23rd to 16th, With the GAWS an outside chance of going down.

Southampton FC made a pre-tax and pre-interest loss of £70.5m following relegation from the PL, Once the tax and interest charges are added the total will be £93.5m. Eye watering amounts but the club is considered not to be at risk as its a "Going Concern"

Two from Birmingham, Stoke, Blackburn and QPR would be good

Some good results at the bottom end of the Championship for the teams below Argyle.

Blackburn and Millwall drew 1-1 putting them both level with Argyle on 40 points.

Birmingham pulled a goal back away to play-off chasing Hull to bring them a point closer to Argyle on 39 points.

The only blip was Stoke losing at Leeds but that was to be expected.

And Argyle themselves lost 1-0 at Hillsborough which puts Wednesday, who are still second bottom, on 38 points...only two points behind 16th placed Argyle 😍

They should have taken Lazio's money. Whittaker will only be worth half as much in League One 🤣

With our mostly dismal season, this is a bright spot to look at and chuckle

Funny how we all do "mood maths", meaning we look at the numbers and interpret them according to our optimism/pessimism.

On the points gap, Argyle are (slightly) more likely to go down than ECFC. Both clubs have a lot of teams in the relegation mix, so the odds are both should stay up. But it feels worse for us. It really isn't.
