I've just read that Matt Gill has become Rob Edwards assistant manager at Tranmere after promotion from being player-coach. Congratulations to him.

I mean't former ECFC players who went on to form a manager and number 2 at clubs other than ours.

Absolutely stretching this one, but one trained with us and the other played for us at three different times during his long career: David James and Trevor Morgan, the management team at Kerela Blasters FC in the Indian Super League

Another stretch one could be Brian McDermott and Eamo at Reading, although in that case their City careers didn't overlap and they weren't manager and assistant.
