Interesting that Brighton were at home. I thought that the under 21 sides were always supposed to be away. Still, denying a lower league club of a day at Wembley, must make them so proud.
U21 sides always away in the group stages.

The final is today at Wembley. Good to see that Exeter boycotted the tournament shame on Peterborough and Wycombe for not doing so.

3 ex city players in the sides yesterday (don't think I missed any).

Great to see Randall and Collins get some winners medals

I wasn't one of them. I had no interest in watching arsenals kids in a nothing competition.

I'd imagine the vast majority were armchair Arsenal fans living in the Exeter area.

In fact, I know a handful who were there.

I thought Hants reference to City boycotting the tournament was a reference to the 0-9 and 0-5 defeats....we didn't turn up (in the playing sense)

Correct didn’t boycott just didn’t contribute or do anything other than make Reading youngsters look a great deal better than they are

I'm still happy with that. Remember at the time we had a massive injury crisis, at least we didn't exacerbate that by games in this.
