Did anybody notice how slow and cumbersome VAR was during the Italy game last night and then see the nationality of who was in control of it (never mind that it was Stuart Attwell). Even in a tournement run by UEFA with their guidelines instead of Premiership guidelines we're still bloody useless with VAR. Arnautovic had a goal chalked off for offside which in real time you could see why it was missed but s soon as you saw the replay you could see he was half a stride off yet it still took Attwell over two minutes to fanny about with his mouse and draw his lines to come up with a decision that a ref of any other nationality would have had done in 30 seconds.

I think it proves the technology is good enough just not the clowns operating it in the Premiership.
