That Northampton defender as got Amond in his back pocket.Got to try something different when we have the ball outside their box.

Lucky to be still in this, guess we'll have the wind behind us second half but need to wake up. haul them in and hit them on the break, Coley for Amond might help.

Northampton just look so much stronger than us.

Same old same old. Last season when Bowman was out we looked bereft of ideas and continued to play the same way regardless. Today's first half has been no different. Too many balls played long towards no-one in particular that Nombe would have chased down and / or been able to hold up because he has the upper body strength that Amond doesn't.

We are winning nothing in the air and they're getting to every second ball first. We quite simply are not working hard enough. We're lucky Northampton arn't out of sight!
Not working hard enough or not being clever enough? My money is on the latter.

Need to sort out the midfield. Needs to be strengthened so as to take charge.

Pray Nombe a Dieng are back next game. Absolutely nothing upfront. Brown won't even compete for a header

We are aimlessly hoofing the ball up too much. The midfield have absolutely no control and Podge is consequently having to live on scraps. Kite, Collins, Brown and MJ need to get the ball on the ground and create something.

Nombe is out for a few weeks with hamstring problems, not sure about Dieng.
