This weekend will see the opening race for the 2015 world title take place in Australia, this is the 1st of 20 - http://www1.skysports.com/f1/grandprix/

TV coverage this year is again split between sky and the beeb with the latter only showing 10 races live - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31735303

For those unfamiliar with the precession of cars, here's an idiots guide to F1 - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/31779202

Fantasy F1 seems to have been clamped down on by the FIA unless they have been approved with most sites from last year not offering the service but i did find these
http://www.fantasyleaguegp.com/ - £10 for the season
http://www.fantasy-f1-league.com/ - Free but as the site owner states, he will shut it down if the FIA start wanting cash from it

So, any thoughts on this year?

Cant see it being much different to last year with Hamilton and Rosberg chasing the title in the Mercedes though i do remember Hamilton was rubbish after he last split with Nicole Shirtswinger
Look out for the Williams cars, Massa and Bottas may continue to surprise a few and I expect Ricciardo in the Red Bull to be there or there abouts
All eyes will be on the Ferrari to see if Vettel can sort out what Alonso failed to do and talking of the Spaniard, reports saying when he crashed the other week he thought it was 1995 maybe the reason he will not take part in Melbourne. If something like that were to happen to any of the drivers at Williams or Lotus then it could see a woman drive in an F1 race for the very first time
And come on Jenson Button, however a new, largely untested and unreliable Honda engine in the McLaren may mean a disappointing the start of the season, expect them to start coming good by about race 5 or 6

Anyway, lights out for the start of a new season, i'm sure at some point most of you will catch a bit of it

Complete yawnathon, and that was just watching the highlights. Most 'excitement' came from the few circus routines masquerading as pit stops. Felt sorry for Jenson trundling around in that Morris Minor of a McLaren.

I'm not sure another season of a straight fight between Hamilton and Rosberg is what anyone is going to want.
