Would like Didcot, Basingstoke, or Worcester away ideally. Failing that a home tie against FGR or someone would be alright.
Interestingly FC of Manchester turned down the chance of a televised match yesterday because it meant they would had to have changed the kick off time. They believe that football ought to be fitted round the fans rather than a TV schedule.Fc United of Manchester would be a live one as well. If we got a non league side away we should stand a good chance of TV anyway after last year
Wasn't it more to do with interference by the broadcaster wanting access to the changing rooms and managers and subs during the game rather than it simply being televised?Interestingly FC of Manchester turned down the chance of a televised match yesterday because it meant they would had to have changed the kick off time. Probably a mixture of both! The FC of Manchester news feed is always a source of great delight. The fan issue was the spin that they put out as being the reason. It makes an interesting comparison with the news that is released by our Club and the Trust about a whole range of issues- though sometimes silence may be more prudent.Wasn't it more to do with interference by the broadcaster wanting access to the changing rooms and managers and subs during the game rather than it simply being televised?
Salford pretty much nailed on provided they draw a league side.Would imagine if Salford City get a league side at home that it will be televised as think that the Neville brothers, scholes and Nicky butt have something to do with them. BBC five live are following them in the cup this season. Fc United of Manchester would be a live one as well. If we got a non league side away we should stand a good chance of TV anyway after last year.
Hopefully they'll get a league team from The Greater Repubic of Mancunia, Bury please just so we don't bloody get them again, and take all the attention away from us. We could do with a bog standard League 2 side at home. Everything will be as it would normally be and we could just do a job as any other Saturday. We all know that's how Tis sets up the week before a cup game, just another weekend.Salford pretty much nailed on provided they draw a league side.
