Horsham.
That’s John Yems’ neck of the woods.
If he’s still interested in and of course allowed to be involved in football.
He is banned and suspended from all football activity until 5th January 2026. This is the longest football ban for discrimination ever handed out in this country. Well and truly on the naughty step.

I watched a YouTube bloggers video of the Swindon v Aldershot match. A bonkers game.
Comedy defending from the home side in the first 10 mins.

Haven’t caught up with the highlights yet, an absolute pasting for Swindon though look forward to the highlights!

They thoroughly deserved the win as they were the better side for almost the entire ninety minutes. They've got some real quality in their squad.

You'll all know how tough it is to escape the National League but if they do so this year and keep hold of key players and their manager they could be very competitive in League Two next term. Paul Cook is a bit of a throwback but also a very, very good lower league manager.

Cray Valley Paper Mills get a 1-1 draw at the Valley. I've watched most of the second half and been kicking and heading pretty much every ball watching on my laptop since they equalised. Love the early rounds of the Cup - even on a day when we've been dumped out.
