Glad we don't suffer VAR. That sucked all the joy out of the game.

Today's game was a classic for the ages; such a shame that the FA has willfully devalued it's own tournament as a sop to the entitled few in the PL.

I thought Coventry were incredible for the final 60 minutes or so of the match. It's weird to think how recently they were slumming in in L2 with our clubs - and testament to both the job Mark Robins has done there and, more recently, their getting rid of the awful SISU as owners.

I reckon they could be very competitive at the top of the Championship next season as it's taken a couple of thier signings a bit of time to hit their straps this season, they have Mason-Clark joining them in the summer, I believe still have the fee from selling Hamer to Sheff Utd to spend and if the rumours of Arsenal activating Gyokeres release clause from Sporting (£80m-odd) are true - will have a significant proportion of the profit Sporting make winging it's way to them. They have also got some pretty hot talent - Torp, Simms, Wright and Sakomoto all look very, very good.

I can’t remember enjoying so many FA cup games in a season. Magic!

BBC sign new rights deal. I thought there were more than two free to air games per round though?

Presumably there's another contract up for grabs. In previous years more than one broadcaster has televised live matches.

TNT already have a deal in place, the BBC Deal is alongside the TNT Deal.

Yes so instead of all TV games being free to air, only half of them are.
More progress from the FA..

it is actually less than half, TNT Have snapped up rights to every game outside of the 3pm blackout window and also will still show the BBC games as they will be simulcast rather than Exclusive to the BBC

Previously Sky broadcast a lot of FA Cup matches didn't they? So it's nothing new, just different from the most recent deals.
