I'd rather play 4 at the back and keep the 3 up front.
We can't defend properly with 3 centre backs let alone only 2.

Great news that Diabate is back in some capacity.

I would take a 0-0. I think we are in for another battering.🤦‍♂️

Good side Fleetwood, held their own for a number of years now in this league, always had or have a crop of decent players aswell, tbh no teams are mugs in League 1.

id like to think we’d win of course but expecting a pretty tight game, maybe one of them that isn’t particularly pretty on the eye too. However I think we will sneak it, just I’d love a 2-0 and a clean sheet for the bauys.

2-0 City, Stansfield and Nombe

It’s not a must win, but feels like it is.

A bit of an ‘unknown’ team as the last time we played them was 22nd March 2014. With only 4 league meeting between the 2 sides (all in L2), we are unbeaten (2w, 2d).

Jamal, Key, Sparkes, Hartridge, James, Kite (CDM), Dieng (Replaced by Harper), Collins, Brown, Stansfield (replaced by Cox) Noumbe. Missing my first game of the season home and away, dreading watching on ifollow.
Gosh, that's a bold and attacking line up! A defence with 17 year old Ed James at its heart plus Key and Sparkes as full backs; both of whom are very strong players going forward but have defensive weaknesses. It would be great if this line up was tried and worked out well.

I'd be more cautious

Blackman
Key Dieng/Diabate* Hartridge
Caprice Kite/Harper Collins Sparkes
Brown
Stansfield Nombe

*Dieng and Diabate to share the 90 minutes between them

Subs Lee/Brown Dieng/Diabate Kite/Harper James Chauke Jay Cox
