Well they have faith in us and have predicted that we will finish 4th in League 2 this coming season

Excellent mag with great articles, however I'd take that prediction with a pinch of salt as they tipped us for play-offs two seasons ago when we were in a relegation battle until the last 4 games.

The fan's eye view in 2011/12 proved to be somewhat wide of the mark. Ahem.

This month's When Saturday Comes has its usual fans' previews - Gary Andrews optimism was plainly based on (and written at the time of) the promising early signings.

As potential sponsors he nominates the Green Party ' co-operative,community based,blah,blah....but deep down everyone knows they'll never win anything..'

Quite witty and appropriate..except for the colour green!

Loving the boy Stanno
except for the colour green!
When I read that article any admiration for the quality of Gary Andrews' piece was overridden by my fury at his choice of sponsor. I'm sure his family would speak highly of him but my extensive research into him (this article only) suggests he's a buffoon.

'most optimisticI've felt in a long time..' based on

'settled squad, some early, impressive transfer moves, exciting youth products and a manager who seems to have re-found his mojo'

Seems to me what many of us might have thought in early July, but would by August now only agree with some of it.
