Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
think we managed 7th or 8th in about 1981, same team that got to fa cup 6th rnd give or take a season.

and when it was div 3 north and south in the fifties think we finished 2nd or 3rd in that one year but only top of each league went up to div 2.

The midfield will get ripped to shreds next season unless a few better players are brought in. Control the midfield and you control the game and we won't be doing much of that with what we have got. Mid-table will be a fantastic achievement with this squad. Play-offs (i.e highest ever position) could be a realistic target with 4 or 5 decent league 1 standard additions to it. But Tis will already know this. Here's hoping.

Is it about 50 or so points to come above relegation? Lets not get carried away hear, talk about reaching the play offs is frankly beyond reality!
