Why are the media in the West giving so much time to the Russian Presidential election? Its not as though its a real competition for Putin, He'll get in with 99+% support, Deliver a speech trying to frighten people in the West and it will be business as usual. I'd love thousands to come out and really protest but they can't, They are rightfully too frightened because Putin has a total iron grip on things, Its not like Romania or East Germany when protest led to real change, Putin will be there until hell freezes over or another madman decides that he'll have a go and Putin will have an accident by falling out of a window or similar.

Someone has attacked Moldova's breakaway (Russian-backed) Transnistria region with a drone that has destroyed a military helicopter on the ground:
Bingo cards are 1) This is a false-flag by the Russians / Transnistrians so that the latter can call on the former to come to their aid, 2) This is the Ukrainians trying to spread confusion / highlight that Moscow is currently impotent to assist their allies or 3) This is the Moldovans hoping to initiate a chain of events by which they can recover the province while Russia is unable to prevent that.
Meanwhile, Ukraine continues to mount nightly, successful attacks on Russian oil refineries and oil depots which achieve the dual goal of damaging the Russian economy / war-machine and embarrassing Russian pride through their inability to stop the raids:

You've got to feel for poor ole Putin who must be absolutely gutted that his 88% of the vote is just a rookie figure really. Kim Yong Un (Mr 100%) and Assad (Mr 95%) are probably on the phone to each other right now laughing about Vlad not having the same electoral appeal as they do. The dastardly Dems wait until 2AM for those antics. I can only see a long drawn-out battle through the Russian constitutional courts as to whether hanging chads count (with the Judge being found hung should they come to the wrong decision).
