Has always been great, his performance against Burnley U-21s was top drawer.

So out of interest whats your take on him not getting a place on the bench?

Think it's more unlikely he's gonna sign as the days pass, especially now that we got Tranmere pinching players too

Well, it's either he has had no offers other than ours and he's hanging in there in the hope that he will. Alternatively, he has been offered terms with another Club, (Tranmere?) but he's holding out for a better offer from them or City. The suspense is annoying me.

We probably won't here a decision from Jimmy regarding his contract situation until the deadline he was given to make his decision.

Unless, he signs for another club in the meantime

So we won't hear anything until we hear anything? ;-)

Do we know for certain whether we can actually sign him up whilst under the transfer embargo, only i don't really see how offering an existing player a new contract is any different to offering someone else a contract - it's still a future financial commitment? Or is it to do with already holding their registration (although, again, i don't see how that would come into it)?
