Anyone heard anything?
Looks like the winding-up order will be heard on 20th March.

The Fans Trust has raised £60k so far. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/leyton-orient-fans-raise-over-60000-of-250000-target-in-bid-to-save-league-two-club-a3484586.html

Why would anyone want to pay £4m for Leyton Orient?

Without the freehold (owned by Hearn, I think?) you'd be mad.

Hearing fixed for 20 Mar, the optimistic noises about sorting it out by Wednesday have,as is often the case in this sort of situation, proved premature.

PS beaten to it by Hants!

On the other hand, Exeter City didn't (doesn't) own the freehold of the Club ground, and St James Centre is owned by OTR, yet a group of fans decided to purchase the shell of what was left without actually knowing what the debt that would be incurred was. I'm sure that Barry Hearn operates a very different business model to the one that was offered to the Exeter Trust by the departing trio, but collective football fans have a different kind of passion and allegiance to Clubs that is often overlooked by "owners".

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Talk sport said this morning that two offers are on the table but the owner wants to wait until it's known which league they will be in next season.

Apparently they only had three players over 21 tonight.

Talk Sport is the right place to report what is 'all talk and no action' from the owners.
