They walked across the road on Abbey Road in St Johns wood, so that was my link thinking.

Mercury lived in Feltham I think.

Actually, the link may be to do with album cover photos in different areas of London. Sadly, my Spice Girls album knowledge isn't good enough to confirm, and the guess was a mere stab in the dark!
