We were fckn SUPERB.

MOTM for me was Aimson, showed determination, skill, awesome positional play and great leadership. He had some beautiful touches and moments of skill throughout, capped off by a great goal which he had no right to score.

Other notable performances:
Richards - if you told me he was a 25 year old seasoned L1 veteran we had signed from Barnsley or Derby or somewhere, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. The lad has a huge future based on this.
Harris - really got up in N'hamptons face and looked a threat.
Woods - before he got unfairly sent off, he showed outstanding link up play with Carroll in a deep lying double-pivot. Was running the game. Guthrie is a disgusting cheat, shameful behavior.
Fitzwater - looked comfortable and composed, good to see him back in contention.

Northampton were pure dark arts. Very physical, a little bit of skill from some individuals but overall lacked creativity and couldnt break our structure down. Their #14 Koiki looked extremely good and Leonard and Pinnock are always decent quality players.
Guthrie is a complete scumbag. Hope he gets sold to Kettering Town and rots in the southern league.

Hes coached it superbly this second half of the season, in a way it's good that he never wavered from his preferred style
