..........as reported in the Trust minutes for March when a request for unbudgeted expenditure was made and Trustees gave unanimous approval for £50 expenditure relating to prizes and pens for the Junior Grecians/ Club Easter Family Bingo Event...........would it now be possible for Trustees to concentrate on the ‘lesser’ matters like buying up the minority shareholding and also setting up a capital projects working group with the primary aim of gaining the freehold of the St. James’ Centre?

Perhaps a Trustee could comment on where we currently are (or aren’t) with these projects?

You don't think the Trust, as a community organisation, should be supporting initiatives like that?

And why would Trustees engage in discussion on unofficial message boards? How did you react to offstage heckling when you were achieving nothing as a Trustee?

I suspect RW knows we won't get much of a response on here but that shouldn't deflect from the rest of his post. He's absolutely right of course, and until the BOS lose this Vicar of Dibley village fete mentality they'll always hold the club back and stifle any forward progress.

The Trust has been content for far too long just to jog along, reacting to situations as and when they occur. Where is the positive planning on the issues that really should be to the forefront? Where is the leadership on this?
