Can't we take it as read that it will stipulate a percentage of any profit?!
I assume so, but 15% of 15% is probably not a huge sum, 2.25% of the total. So if he was transferred for (say) £50m and Villa profit by £17M, we wold get 17M x 0.15 x 0.15 = £382,500, less 20% VAT -= £306K. Still not to be sniffed at, but not even enough to fund ECFC for a month.

I would expect any fee would have VAT added rather than being VAT inclusive

Ah yes, mea culpa. So the figure of 382K would be the right one on that scenario.

In fact IIRC a problem is that you have to pay the VAT, even if this is due before the instalments of the transfer fee has been received?

Yes unless on VAT cash basis but that only applies if annual turnover not above £1.35 million

Remember reading somewhere as a kid , Ollie was a gooner... if that's true . can't imagine him not,.At least wanting to know if a move the them is a possibility.
He's still a big Arsenal fan, he's spent a good amount of time with some of the people behind that Arsenal YouTube channel, imagine he'll go it there's real interest

What a superb athlete . How he's continually ignored by Southgate is a total mystery. Scores regularly against world class players. What more has Ollie got to do ?
