Yeah. better performance than many matches he's scored in.
Yeah but he didn't score any penalties so he's clearly hopeless

Yep, Apparently Toney will go to the Euro's and be used like a field kicker in US Gridiron, Just bring him on for penalties.

When in recent history would an England manager not take in the squad an English player to a major tournament who was in the top 3 goal scorers in the ‘best league in the world’. Nuts
Used to happen often. Robbie Fowler by Hoddle, for one. Watkins may be banging then in for club, but would he do the same for country? He's been given chances, but not excelled.

Much more competition for places upfront back then though. Just take them both. We used to pick 5 strikers, I don’t see why we can’t pick 3

According to reports today the Euro 24 squads are going to be increased to 26 players. If correct then, baring injury, Ollie should make the squad and also the Grid Iron specialist kicker/ penalty taker. Maybe Solanke could be included as well.

Emery has extended his contract at Villa so that's good news for Ollie. Assuming he stays put.

...not as good as the 'best friends' video that Ollie and MJ did at City nearly eight or so years ago....

Just read an online article by former Man U defender Paul Parker saying that they should forget about signing Toney but sign Ollie instead, Saying Ollie is better all round. Not taking too much in it but it's still great when you hear people talking about Ollie in a positive way.

Paul Parker did the Setanta co-commentary the season we got promoted from the Conference didn't he? I quite liked him, but I might be prejudiced because he was always generous in his words about us 😅
