Any chance the Cheese could finally locate some of the above ?

All we ever do is try and walk the ball into the net.

What does the Cheese have against power and pace ?

We have a team full of lightweights with no pace and power, it is costing us goals at the back and we are offering feck all from set pieces going forward.

There is more than one way to skin a cat, sadly the Cheese is too stuck in his own little mindset.

We escaped on the last day last season and are starting to struggle again, perhaps we need some fresh ideas.

Just like the old days...
last few games it#'s been like men against boys... but when you see the guys coming out the tunnel, there doesn't seem to be too much between them height wise!

Really? I think we have a good mix of 'hard men' and intellectual players. Tonights game was a good example of that. A long way off the relegation scrap ...

Hard men ?

You have led a sheltered life, one or two of them might fancy themselves but not one of them can really bring it, Dunny is the closest but still lacks the innate power to cut someone in half when necessary.

The OP just restates what some of us have been saying for season after season Cheesy just don't do hard men, we have a team full of pussies who get muscled by everybody, so when the pretty pretty don't work, we are screwed.

Well it's a good job it has by and large for the last three or four seasons then...

We could have been European champions by now, if we'd had one or two!

Not really, we had one good season to finish second in the 4th division, the rest of it was scrambling most of the time and last season was only saved when George came in and Cheesy finally gave the duracell brothers an extended run thereby upping our physical presence 100%.

What did happen to the Duracell brothers anyway? Somebody buy a new charger, because we need them back, sharpish.

Backing our manager like I always have. Geddon Tis
We are a bunch of pussies - that cannot be argued. We daren't challenge for a ball in case we hurt ourselves or another person, especially in the air. Its the reason we are so bad at set-pieces. We've always been more of a flair side. Like Ant rightly said, this has worked well for us in recent seasons, but we are crying out for some balance, someone to actually have a bit of presence.

To score from a set piece it has to be delivered well, hit well or be creative. Nothing to do with being 'pussies'.

Our set pieces have been shocking for ages now, which could be part of the reason there are no goals in the Matt Taylor column.
