Lots of positives, but Jake Taylor, why? And big Nige had a shocker in the 2nd half.

Weakest City side for a number of seasons, I thought Nigel and Ryan should of been subbed.

MJ was awesome again, Joel played really well and a couple good saves from Lewis.

Disappointed not to have got 3pts today.

MJ, Page, Dean and Randall all looking the part. The future is bright, the future is red and white.

Good result and the youngsters provided some good energy,in my view it’s a good point away from home and whilst it’s early days I think the youngsters may surprise a few teams, well done UTC!

A good start. A few young lads in the team, and up against League Two spenders. Well done lads.

A point away at Salford on the first day of the season. Fantastic result in my opinion.

Salford will have the highest wage expenditure in the league and will be up there this season.

Pros - we look OK. Randall will go on to big things. McArdle just what we needed. Jay as always giving us a spark. Ward looking like he did at the start of last season.

Cons - same deadwood letting us down. Jake Taylor offers us nothing. All Sweeney did when he came on is foul. As long as they’re in and around the squad we won’t be going anywhere. We NEED a centre half.

Same old story... if we had a goal scoring striker, we’d have destroyed Salford today.
Take it you don’t like Taylor......😂

Feel now though attack may not be the problem area many of us thought it was but defensively we look shaky and have been throughout the preseason and the last two games prior to this have been conceding goals on a regular basis.
Brand new defence though SB. All four were making league debuts of some kind for us today. Even if we could do with another senior centre back, they need time to bed in. Remember Woody's debut 😳 took an age for fans to come around from a really dodgy start to see how good he was.

Overall think you’d take a point away at Salford. Especially after conceding less than two mins into the season. Thought the defence looked better today. Key, page and dean all did well. MJ did great, Randall very good and some lovely football in the first half, so overall positive signs!
