He was only poorly regarded by morons here who didn't like his alledged bad attitude. It always struck me that those same people were, more or less, the same age as Scrat. Jealousy?? Who knows, who cares. He was better for us than most gave him credit for.

Never did understand the stick he got, and seems to still get on these boards. Danny was, and still is, a very decent cennerback, who still has age on his side and is a local lad. So, he couldn't deliver a 40 yard slide rule pass, who gives a sh*t, he was solid in his defensive duties, rarely bullied off the ball and never bottled a challenge. Decent qualities for a so called crap defender I'd say.

I never thought Seaborne would make it above League 1 level because I always thought he had a few weaknesses in his game that would hinder his progress. For starters his distribution was p*ss poor, 9 times of out of 10 he would get the ball and launch it upfield to nobody in particular.

I always thought he was brave, good in the air and decent in the tackle but I never got the impression he was the smartest player in the world, he dived in far too much in the box for my liking and, as I said, his long punts upfield were often pointless. I didn't think that the things he lacked could be coached into him.

BUT, if he's doing well at Championship level then good luck to him, I'm happy to be proved wrong - he's still a Devonshire boy after all and he always gave his best for us.
