Equally exciting finish to the mens race with Shura Kitata out sprinting Vincent Kipchumba to the line....the biggest surprise though was world record holder Eliud Kipchoge coming in eight sighting an ear problem for his disappointing performance...The London Marathon is an incredible event but clearly not the same without the participation of the masses and enthusiastic spectators.

Well done to Mark Allen for beating O'Sullivan in the snooker last night.

A little surprising but not impossible to win a grand tour stage at the age of 35.

I see Geraint Thomas has dislocated a shoulder in a training ride fall on ice at the weekend he’s not had a lot of luck this year.

And Glasgow's match has been called off too. As the season is so squashed there is no chance of fitting in rearranged fixtures, so a "pools panel" like affair will be used to determine results ! What a load of carp, with no fecker prepared to sacrifice their own Club or Country Competitions for the greater good !
