You don't half post some rubbish. Caldwell can pick who he likes when he likes, so if he preferred Woods to Blackman he'd have picked him for every game he was available. He didn't.
You don’t half reply with some rubbish. I didn’t say Caldwell couldn’t pick who he wanted, and until Woods got injured he did pick him over Blackman.

Reece Cole. Hmmm underwhelmed but his recent record is concerning

The 5' 10 (10st 3lbs) midfielder temporarily transferred to Gary Caldwell's Thistle on Monday, 2nd September, 2019, from his parent club, Brentford.
There's a bit of a theme here. Not necessarily a bad thing but I think it's legitimate to ask questions.

Reece Cole was the best of the triallists on show against Tiverton.
The club is making a lot of his attributes as a 'dead ball' specialist. This is is def something we need to improve on - when was the last time we scored direct from a freekick? Matt Jay the season before last?

I said in the match thread he was the pick of the trialists. Obviously someone who GC knows of and just wanted to make sure he was still the same player and what mindset he was in. Maybe the season out of the pro game will drive him on as you could see the quality he had on Friday. We still need another centre mid, possibly two but I would say a solid signing.

If indeed Woods is number one we will definitely need a centre back that can win everything in the air, as crosses are definitely not his strong point. Check Diabetes please stay fit!!

I say it every year but I am concerned. A lot of quality has gone and not the same quality in. Reece was good at Tiverton but he was playing Tiverton.
