Here we go again , wonder what today will bring ? Have a feeling in my gut something may actually happen today on the signing front.

I would have thought Colchester would have been his destination!

Colchester are a division below us. If we want him we've got him.

I think that's another one where we'd have to sell the location, as much as the club. There's a reason why a lot of players in that area do the rounds of Ipswich/Colchester/Southend.

Sorry, Banksy, but I had to have a little chuckle about your daily disappointment at City's lack of transfer action and then the sigh of hope that something will happen
Cheer up mate : they say the best things are worth waiting for
Best wishes from Mike

Yes.
I went to our match at Colchester last season so I did a bit of research on their squad at that time.
By my calculations 7 of them had previously played at senior level for Ipswich.
It must be handy to be a professional footballer in the parts of the country where there are lots of teams so you can move clubs throughout the different stages of your career without uprooting your family, if you have one, or even moving house.

Wouldn't call East Anglia a football hotbed also they are not friendly rivals. How many players move between Plymourh and Exeter? If we had 7 ex Slime players we'd not be happy bunnies I suggest.
