Just watching the Maidstone/Stevenage tie and the commentator said since 2012, the current owners of Maidstone have turned a profit each year, The players aren't full time but to turn a profit, however small each year is pretty good going at any level of football.

Also recall they took us to two replays back in 1967-68 before we could claim the prize - that home tie against Man United.

I met a few of their background staff that day as I took our ticket returns back.
There was a really good feel about the place and they were excited about the game.

I'm getting so tired of small clubs like this being forced out of existence.
Their line of history goes back to 1889.

I missed the 50/50 by one number that day. The person before me collected the winnings ! It was around £400 iirc
