It was at that, i was just behind it and he approached it looking like he had the intent of taking the womble and or the ball out which seemed at the time was the safe/right decision ., why exactly he changed his mind, only he knows. but it also beggers where the f was our left back.

It was poor defending. It looked like he was going to come away with the ball, but then the attacker won the ball back and it was 1-1.

Right in front of me. Bennett tried to play some football in that position and attempted to regain possession, when the safer option would have been to put the ball out for a throw (which would have to be chucked stright into a gale, anway).

Get rid of the bloody thing aint it.....
like it or not is the basic rule of defending
if in any doubt kick the bloody thing out.
on the evidence of the last 6 points dropped
our young defenders would do well to have that pointed out to them .

Sure it was given for offside, and I looked at it a couple of times and it was whoever followed up the first shot was offside when the first shot was fired off.
Ahh ok.....always the way, when you're in a poor run of form, then nothing goes for you.
