Good fighting 3 points. Other than Burton hitting the bar they created nothing and I'm not sure they even realised they were playing against 10.

Jules a ******* for getting sent off but thankfully not costly and Yanic probably grateful he didn't have to run anymore.

Safe as houses

Gutsy performance today. I can really appreciate that.

First half was a good back and forth football match, perhaps fortunate to finish it 1-0 given Burton had superior chances but we also gave it a good go.

Zak Jules - whatever happened - is foolish for putting the team in a difficult position.

I thought the 10 men were magnificent second half.

Very very happy - we’re probably safe now and given some of what he has had to endure, Caldwell deserves more credit for putting us into the position. It’s been difficult, often turgid but the results since the turn of the year have been good. And some green shoots of actual performances too.

Looking forward to next season.

Time for Aimson - Diabate - Purrington back 3 then. Hartridge or Fitzwater on the bench if fit, or a recall for Ed James...

What a week.
7 points from a possible 9.
6 goals scored and only 2 conceded.
Plus both wins were against direct rivals.
We now have almost 2 weeks until our next match, so time to rest and hopefully recuperate some of the injured players.
Then we can attack Charlton at home.
Lovely stuff.

Great result and hard earned win going into a nice break for the players!

That right there is why it was important not to let Aimson go in the January window. He was outstanding today! Cheick did well when he came on as well which isn’t easy to do as a CB.

Niskanen also very good today and should have had two assists as Harris should have stuck his chance away early in the game. He also did well to get back and do just enough when the Burton player was through one on one.

Special mention for Harris as he did a lot of work unnoticed 2nd half and got back to help us defend that left side and covered a hell of a lot of ground for the team.

Alli has something and definitely some physicality to his game which is why he was brought on over Eisa. He is raw but an exciting project!

Nearly there and only 3 points of 11th!! 😉

Oh and Plymouth lose again to Ryan Lowe and now right in a relegation battle!!

Decent Saturday!!

Other than Burton hitting the bar, they really didn't make the most of playing against 10 men. In fact we did very well after the break and gave Burton problems. GC played the subs correctly this week. Even the Bank made some noise in the last 10 minutes.

Well done to all. Up the City!

Subs were superb today, glad we didn't just sit in for the second half and played with some intensity
Just curious why Chieck isn't starting at the moment?
