I caught the back end of Argiggle embarrassing themselves live on the box last Saturday and thought the Gnome Park pitch looked very patchy especially when you compare it ours.

I caught the back end of Argiggle embarrassing themselves live on the box last Saturday and thought the Gnome Park pitch looked very patchy especially when you compare it ours.

I understand that they got greedy and held 2 concerts in May / June so the pitch was boarded over not giving enough time for ground preparation unlike us - they even had to "quietly" cancel some home pre-season games !
Talk about "shoot yerself in the foot" a bit like singing those atrocious songs about "Our Stanno " at Gnome Park which I know Jay would have channeled into his match winning goal today.
Thanks Jay for putting the cherry on the top of our Grecian cake tonight.
