Love it Spoonz...Get back for a one off gig..🎶
I remember seeing Dangerous Girls back in the day upstairs in Winstons. I think it may have been a nightclub at the time ?
I think the nightclub part was downstairs.

Oddly enough I do remember it as an upstairs gig.

The support were 'Vision Collision' from Birmingham and the comedian was Ted Chippington.

Speaking of Ted Chippington.

He used to gig with us a lot and went on to gig regularly with the Fall.

Stewart Lee saw him and it completely changed his approach to comedy.
Here's a short piece with Stewart interviewing Ted.

I was watching an episode of the Count Arthur Strong show.
The plot revolved around him getting his old band together with John Shuttleworth.
They sit on the sofa flicking through old records and to my surprise one of them was of my own band. :)
That's amazing. Love it.

I love a bit of John Shuttleworth me

If we're talking Radio 4 comedy "Clare and the Community" is wonderful.
Our little Culture Warriors on here ought to love it - and even I as a "lefty-liberal-tofuknitting-selfloathing-enemyofthepeople" can see the funny side of how hideously horrible the eponymous busy-bodying do-gooder is.
