Probably not as many as those, but Hereford away in the 89/90 promotion season felt like a lot, the standing bit was packed and half the stand to our left was full of Exeter support as well

We took around 3000 to Charlton in the FA cup didn’t we? I know it’s not a league fixture but was a good atmosphere, especially when Santos headed in the back of the net.

The last game of 89/90 when the Grecians were in party mode at Sincil Bank.There must have been about 1,500 there.
Remarkable because promotion was wrapped up & it’s a long old drag from Devon.

We took around 3000 to Charlton in the FA cup didn’t we? I know it’s not a league fixture but was a good atmosphere, especially when Santos headed in the back of the net.

They were a Premier League club at the time and we were struggling at the bottom end of League 2 City certainly gave them a game that day.
