We will have do our homework on how to extract the maximum fee in a whole new "ballpark" if BM came in. Presumably EPPP would go out the window (thank goodness ?) but could this end up in a UEFA or FIFA tribunal ???

And just what is this latest fad for Germans buying up young English football talent ? It was bad enough losing half the car industry to them, let alone power companies and other privatised services !

It's because we are developing very good youth talent with a higher technical ability than before through our academies and our boys are now more open to move abroad as they are given more opportunity to break through than in the premier league. Jadon Sancho's success has been a bit of a game changer.

And Ethan Ampadu's lack of success as a bit of an eye opener

His time will come when he gets a chance. Hard to break into a team that has been doing well. Ask Matt Jay. Sancho didn't just get plonked into the starting eleven, he had to earn his chance. It would be more worrying if Ethan was on the bench for some championship club which would have been a safer move.
