Unfortunately the Grecians site isn’t always accurate with an example being Stockley made 41 apps in the league last year plus 3 play off games giving a total of 44 league apps, of which he scored 1 goal in the play offs. Hence the Grecians site is showing one too few games played. All official sources also show him on 35 league goals (when including the play off goal), so I’ll give him that one even if you are correct in that one should be Taylor’s.....

When midfield player Simon Milton signed on loan(Ipswich)for a month in November 1987,due to circumstances the Grecians only played a couple of games in his loan period,he scored 3 goals in the 2 League appearances..

After managing to get the formatting to work slightly better on here, its interesting to see total games and goals from all current active ECFC players. I made it that Tillson played his 100th league game on Saturday and Boateng his 50th. This was the best and most accurate data I could come up with using a combination of Grecian archive, flashscores data and Wikipedia.
Headings are...Player...League Games.. Cup Games....Total....League goals.....Cup goals....Total

Wasn't Flackie nearer the 100 mark? From memory it was 98 in all games.

Thought Flackie scored 100 getting his last one when he had a hat trick at SJP some time ago hence why the club had those special ties made ?

He fell short mate....The ties commentated Banks,Kellow & Rowbotham.

Out of interest,what do other posters think about League & goal records for players when the Grecians had the 5 year exile in non league football ?..They are not included in the bible of Rothmans/Sky/Sun year books..Should the appearances/goals in non league be on the same platform as the players records in the Football League ?

Updated player stats up to and including last nights game. I made it Jake Taylor's 150th league game for us. I also make it that the next competitive game will be Deano's 300th for us, and Sweeny's 100th!

I am going to go back and see how soccerbase compares to the other sources I had initially used. Hopefully this will remove any 'fake news' and 'human error' that may be present in the above stats!
