I agree with the Fastard. If we just look at the games we’ve lost under Gary Caldwell, and ignore any games where we’ve won points, then extrapolate that across the whole season, we’d get relegated with no points at all and be the laughing stock of the country.

Caldwell out.
😂 indeed. not calling for caldwell out by any means, he's actually done better than I initially expected....just pointing out based on bridgy's post that our home form is currently relegation standard, factually speaking. I happen to agree with his comments after the match yesterday - we've been competitive in every game we've played under him bar ipswich...something's clearly going amiss at home mind

He actually kicked out at the dug out - damage will come out of his wages I guess !
I didn't see that but I'm not surprised.

Gary Caldwell 14 matches (6 home, 8 away).
Home: 1 win, 3 draws, 2 defeats.
Away: 3 wins, 2 draws, 3 defeats.
17 points from a possible 42 = 0.4 per match.
I think this is wrong, only 5 games he's had at home? Barnsley was called off.

Clearly this would then change it to promotion form btw

It's actually 1.3 points per game. Throw away the fact that he has had a bloody hard run that would give us 59.8pts (lets say 60) if put across an entire season. Even though that doesn't account for much easier runs like MT had it would in no way relegate us from League One.

So you're wrong on pretty much all counts here.

EDIT: I've just noticed you're now zoning in on just home form, whilst a concern for gates it doesn't relegate you - the entire set of results do.

I think it is 6 home league matches for Gary despite the Barnsley postponement.
Peterborough, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth, FGR and Charlton.

blimey alright mate. except i think you yourself are wrong on the 1.3 points per game count! merely pointing out our home form isnt great, in fact in a post above i've credited caldwell, as i have after some of the recent fine away wins

What a disappointing afternoon! I'm very much pro Caldwell but we need to improve at home if we want to keep attendances up!

We seem to have a calamitous 10 minutes in most games and it cost us yesterday.

Never thought play offs were realistic even before the game yesterday but they're definitely out of the question now. Call me negative but I'm still very much looking down and just want us to get to the 50 point mark before the difficult games at the end of the season.

Yup you're correct and I'm wrong!

Good job I don't work with numbers 😅

Apologies also to @Bat Fastard we are indeed going down

I'm of the same mindset, although unlikely it's still a possible scenario. Need to win the games coming up against some weaker oppo.
