How could any City fan loathe him?! Even if you don't think he's a great player, he has and always will give his all for the club, on and off the pitch.
He wouldn't be in my first XI but I still love the guy.
Francis Jeffers and James Beattie...presumably Accy Stanley are the only club in the history of the 4th division with 2 forwards who between them have commanded circa £30m of transfer fees in their careers?!
Not that it's really worked for them, mind... ^o)
Anyone know the phone number for it? The only number I can find online, and in the Yellow Pages (old school!) is the main club reception, and that doesn't give you an option to ring through to the bar.
Alternatively, does anyone know if it's open tonight and if so, will there be skittles on...
I think the backpass was fine, he had plenty of time to put the ball upfield, wouldn't have even needed to put it into touch. It would have been routine for any keeper who was comfortable with his kicking and comfortable with the ball at his feet...which is where Artur fell down tonight.
Every keeper makes the odd howler. The difference is that most keepers make them about once every thirty or forty games, Artur makes one every three.
Good on him, he tries his best and he always picks himself up and goes again...but he can't kick, he's not particularly commanding on crosses...
Right, that's sorted then. So who shall we get to replace him to guarantee survival this year?
That's always the thing, isn't it? The idiots calling for his head are always keen to vent their anger by wielding the axe left, right and centre, but won't have a decent, viable suggestion as to who...
Square pegs, round holes. It shouldn't come as a surprise that they ripped us apart on the break 3 or 4 times in the first half, no one seems to know where they should be playing! But even so, NO side playing 5 in midfield and 4 at the back should get hit on the break when it's 0-0 in the first...
I never thought Seaborne would make it above League 1 level because I always thought he had a few weaknesses in his game that would hinder his progress. For starters his distribution was p*ss poor, 9 times of out of 10 he would get the ball and launch it upfield to nobody in particular.
I...
Tom Nicholls has to start on Saturday, surely? He looks much livelier, smarter and sharper than Bignall...different side in the 2nd half and it was much to do with Bauza and Nicholls in place of Logan and Bignall IMO.
We don't need panic buys IMO...if we get a bit of cash from the two cup games we'd be better off investing in another physio or some better equipment to treat injuries, as that's really our problem at the moment.
It's not that the players we've got are crap, it's that they're injured!
That Baggy Trousers one is pure class. I hope one of the good one catches on, although I fully expect 'der der der derrrr...Guillem Bauza' or 'one Guillem Bauza' to be the ones that take off unfortunately.
Any chance we could get Baggy Trousers played over the PA close to kick off? Get it in...
