I think Carroll Is the sort of player who does an awful Lot of unseen work. I don’t mean chasing lost causes. It’s his positional sense, game understanding and orchestration of others that I think we would miss massively. I rate him. Really hope we sign him.

😂 I do understand why people are unhappy (or bored) - but I like watching the new players settle in. I think this style pf football is long term - add a bit of magic and a little more ooomph (confidence) and this will get more exciting. But ultimately, I like winning.

Just watch the game. We’ve been in it. Good possession, played fast and forward and created chances. Don’t be fooled by the scoreline here. No excuses, they have been incisive. But we have been bright and certainly not bad to watch.
