If it did happen I was totally unaware of it and nobody in the Stansfield did either so did the club just let it disappear and hope nobody noticed?

After the negative reaction to it on social media, this is the right answer. There was no mention of it from the stadium announcer.

The idea was originally started by a port vale fan on twitter/x/whatever they call it now, and the football supporters association retweeted it.

But it was then picked up by a trustee suggesting it was a great idea. No idea who the trustee was though

I think it received some anti Reading stuff from The Choir/Legion/whatever other name they allude to these days.

They actually sung the Stanno song for the full minute. Didn’t hear anything anti Reading. I was stood just in front of that group.

It was a damp squib. Clearly if the club wanted something to happen they would have announced it beforehand, like they have done on previous occasions.
Anyone not aware that there might have been something planned would not have noticed anything out of the ordinary.
