I did not see any of it but the England second innings card makes for very grim reading.

The 8th and 9th wicket Indian partnerships clawed them back into the game.

Bit surprised that neither the commentators nor the batsmen seemed to have realised that if the number of wickets left is equal to the number of reviews left, then there is no downside for the batsman in taking the review. So if there are 7 wickets down and three reviews left, the batsman can just take the review anyway. Taking 3 successive unsuccessful reviews when 7 down means that all the reviews run out, but the team is all out anyway!

Series lost :(

When India slumped to 120-5 there was hope. If only we had had got another 50 runs in the second innings.

Brendon McCullum hopes that Shoaib Bashir will get plenty of opportunities at Somerset. Trouble is, whenever a spinner takes a wicket at Taunton, the pitch inspectors start circling like vultures.

Somerset may be amenable to letting Shoiab Bashir go out on loan. Meanwhile Hampshire send Mason Crane on a season long loan across all formats to the Welsh.
