Am I missing something here? Wales were playing at the Cardiff City stadium which doesn’t have a retractable roof, unlike the stadium down the road that was formerly known as the Millennium Stadium.
Now known as the principality stadium, and I was referring to Wembley not Cardiff !

The retractable roof at Wembley doesn't cover the pitch; just protects the supporters from the worst of the elements.

If that is the case, what is the point of having one. Then ?

A question probably better directed to Wembley Stadium Plc rather than Exeweb but, like Egg said, to protect the supporters from the elements. And I assume to get more light on the pitch when the stadium isn't in use?

The retractable roof helps with airating the pitch and with maximising light levels for optimum growing conditions.

There is beleived to be a clause that Chelsea will receive another payment (20% of which comes to City) if Leeds get promoted. And there might be sell on clauses where Leeds will give Chelsea any profit they make on Ethan when (if) they sell him of which City would get 20 pecent of what Chelsea receive.
