Not competively but in a Friendly to inaugurate the new floodlights in 1964.
I still have my floodlight from the St. James Rd end! I have had it fully restored and it's now fully operational. It's very impressive and destined one day to be given to the Club Musuem when they have space for it. Can you refresh my memory as to what year the auction that sold the floodlights was?

Yikes - there's a pretty big error in there about where the Man Utd 2005 games were played!

The Torquay fan had a bit of a point about us getting lucky draws re Everton and Man U.

Everton at home in 1999 (after Eastwood and Aldershot at home) - 3 consecutive home draws

Man Utd (after Braintree, Grimsby and Doncaster all at home, Then Man U at Old Trafford, which is a better draw than being at home)

(unless the archive is right and 67,500 squeezed into SJP)

Hence my Exeweb name as saw all the home games and the FA Cup replay at Old Trafford.

Not the most favourable of draws but a chance to progress to the third round nonetheless.
