I feel sorry for Jokull as he did try to make the save with his chest and legs - you can see his hands are held away from the ball as much as possible.
But the hand came into play at some point.
Having done the hard work at smothering the ball he then tries to kick clear and misses.

Would love to see it from another angle.

Only a goalkeeper would make a challenge like that. It wasn't a tackle. It was an attempt to block the ball using his whole body. Fully deserved the red.
