Back in the 60s the club occasionally finished above Cambridge Utd in the Southern League, but United were the ones elected to the Football League.

Ben Watson is the new manager for FC Street.

l’m driving over to Street first thing tomorrow morning and will be near their football ground so I’ll keep an eye out for him.
I was at a pre-season friendly years ago at WsM when Ben played for us.
He whacked one over the bar into the car park (during the warm-up I think so it presumably would have been one of our balls).
It was still there in the undergrowth when I was leaving, so I picked it up and took it home.
I did think about how to get it back to City but on closer inspection the ball had Scunthorpe United’s logo on it!
