Some more "balance"I see JRM is going to have a show.
Hmm, sneering at the have-nots....

Why should it hide things that its viewers want to hear?GB News is rapidly not even bothering to hide the far-right sympathies that it has always dog-whistled towards. Give me that staid old "MSM" any day of the week over the conspiratorial garbage spouted by both far-right and far-left 'alternative' offerings. The irony is that the people who view such 'news outlets' tend to think they are very clever people who have 'seen through the lies' while happily lapping up inane and dangerous nonsense:

mmm...if it is complete "nonsense" and if barely anyone is watching it (so certain people keep saying), why be so bothered?Seems even some in the Con Party are getting a bit alarmed over GB Snooze and it's increasing myth making.

Coming soon: a Tory showdown over GB News?
Story by Robbie Griffiths
The Tories are looking set to have an internal battle over GB News. Yesterday deputy chairman Lee Anderson joined Jacob Rees-Mogg as one of five Conservative MPs to get a show on the channel. But we hear that some in the party are hoping for better scrutiny of some of its content. Two days ago Ofcom found that GB News breached impartiality rules by drawing misleading conclusions about the Covid-19 booster. And last week, Commons Leader Penny Mordaunt made a biting speech on the “alarmist nonsense” on GB News, saying it is “sandwiched” between credible content. She quoted a recent monologue by presenter Neil Oliver, which falsely alleged a government conspiracy over food shortages, and wrongly implied air-raids in Ukraine are fake, calling them “sound effects”. Could there be a crackdown on some of the wilder elements on the channel soon?
Not my words Jigz. They were uttered by "your own" fragrant Ms Mordaunt, possible next leader of "your" party.mmm...if it is complete "nonsense" and if barely anyone is watching it (so certain people keep saying), why be so bothered?
Same can he said about the BBC, We're told hardly anyone watches it nowadays because of supposed biased yet lots of people are bothered.mmm...if it is complete "nonsense" and if barely anyone is watching it (so certain people keep saying), why be so bothered?
