I’ve been to a couple of England U21 matches (at Reading and Bristol) and I’d like to see Jay play for them but the forthcoming home fixture is in Bolton and I’m not that keen!
Hopefully a future one whilst Jay is still involved may be closer to home.
Failing that I’ll have to wait and go to Wembley to watch him when he’s leading the line with Ollie for the first eleven.

Sadly have to report that Jay left sat on the bench today along with 3 other unused subs.

Another of the unused substitutes today was Sam Tickle.
He was in goal for Wigan when we recently won at their place.
Nice to see that there’s a chance of being involved with England’s U21s even if you’re at a mid-table League One club.
An extra incentive for our younger players perhaps.
